DS03A-NB Outdoor NB-IoT Open/Close Door Sensor

The Dragino DS03A-NB is a NB-IoT Door Sensor. It detects door open/close status and sends it via NB-IoT network to an IoT Server.

The DS03A will send periodically data every 2 hours as well as for each open/close event. It also counts the door open times and calculates the last door open duration.

DS03A has the open alarm feature, user can set this feature so the device will send an alarm if the door has been open for a certain time.

You can use various IoT Servers and different uplink methods including MQTT, MQTTs, UDP and TCP. 

The sensor node uses Quectel BC660K-GL Multi-band LTE Cat NB2 module which can be used in most European countries. It has a card slot for an NB-IoT SIM card. Ask your mobile operator about availability of SIM cards, coverage, frequencies used and login procedures. See for example Deutsche Telekom IoT and 1NCE.

This device supports BLE for easy configuration and wireless OTA to update the firmware.

DS03A-NB is powered by 8500mAh Li-SOCI2 battery for many years of use. It has an external antenna and a waterproof IP66 enclosure.
