Computer module with Intel Atom, WiFi and Bluetooth LE
The Intel Edison is a super compact computer module with the Intel Atom SoC dual core CPU. The module has integrated WiFi, Bluetooth LE and a 70-pin connector for the connection of "Blocks" which can be stacked on top of each other. Sparkfun is working on the development of various Intel Edison Blocks. As soon as these blocks are available we will be supplying them. We now supply the Intel Mini Breakout Kit and the Intel Arduino Breakout Kit. On the Arduino Breakout Kit, Arduino Shields can be used.
Industrial Ethernet/WLAN to serial converter with 4 RS232/RS485 ports.
The PBH-154 by Sollae Systems is an industrial Ethernet/WLAN to serial converter. The converter has 4 ports with selectable RS232 or RS422/RS485. The PBH-154 can be connected with a 10M/100M Ethernet or with a WiFi network. By installation of the Virtual COM Port Driver for Windows it is possible to communicate the same way as a direct connection to the COM-port of the PC. The converter is easy to configurate with ezManager for Windows or with the App for iPhone/iPad.
Board with powerful ARM7 processor has GSM/GPRS, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS
LinkIt ONE is an open source, high performance board. It is based on the MediaTek Aster (MT2502) in combined with the powerful WiFi (MT5931) and GPS (MT3332) chips. The LinkIt ONE has an ARM7 EJ-S processor with GSM, GPRS, WiFi, Bluetooth BR/EDR/BLE, GPS, Audio codec and a SD card connector. Pin-out is similar to Arduino boards including digital I/O, analog I/O, PWM, I2C, SPI, UART and power supply. Using LinkIt ONE together with MediaTek LinkIt SDK (for Arduino) you can easily transform your ideas into practical prototypes.
The eTape sensor from Milone Technologies is a solid-state, continuous fluid level sensor for level measurement of liquids. The standard sensor can measure water, on water based liquids and dry fluids (powders). Now a new version is available, which is suitable for the measurement of foods and chemical liquids, like gasoline. The resistance change of the sensor is equal to the liquid level. To simplify the interfacing we offer a module which converts the resistance value to an output voltage.
