The Duinomite is a small and versatile computer with a full
featured BASIC interpreter. It works
with a standard VGA-monitor and PS/2 keyboard. Because the Duinomite has
its own SD-card,
you can write and run BASIC programs without PC. The Duinomite also has 20 in- and
outputs, USB host/device, RS232, CAN, UEXT, audio output and connectors for Arduino shields.

New ARM mbed module has Cortex-M0 by NXP
With the popular mbed modules you can easily develop programs in C++ via a web interface.
The ARM RealView compiler with a large number of libraries is available to you for free.
You load the program via the USB interface into the module without having to install
anything onto your PC. The English manufacturer mbed (part of ARM) has developed a
module with the NXP LPC11U24. This microcontroller is ideal for the designing of USB

Speech recognition with Arduino
The EasyVR Voice Recognition module by VeeaR is now available as a shield for the Arduino.
The EasyVR has a wide number of pre programmed commands in different languages, like English,
German and French. You can also load up to 32 commands onto the EasyVR. These commands are
speaker dependent and can be in any language. With the GUI you can easily program the speech commands

RF power meter and 2.4 GHz spectrum analyzer uses iPad or iPhone
The American company Oscium makes measurement instruments which work on a iPad or iPhone. Next
to the oscilloscope, Oscium offers the WiPry-Combo. This instrument is a combination of a RF
power meter with a range of a 100MHz to 2.7 GHz and a spectrum analyzer for the 2.4 GHz ISM
band. The WiPry-Combo is an instrument which is easily operable and offers everything to
